Leavenworth Rubber Stamps
This unique line of rubber stamps will lend inspiration to your next card, art piece, journal -- or whatever you like to stamp. Sennelier Acrylics
The goal of this new line was to create artist-grade acrylics that have the consistency and rendering capability similar to those of extra-fine oils. The texture is that of a colour paste, creamy and rich, revealing desired brush or knife marks. With 120 shades, including six iridescent metallic colours, Sennelier offers one of the broadest palettes on the market. This new line of arylics is due to arrive by mid July, and will be priced at 15% off suggested msrp.

Creative Arts Charter School C.A.R.E.S Mural Art Project
C.A.R.E.S: Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy and Self Control
Our Creative Arts community practices the "Responsive Classroom" methodology. During spring 2010, kindergarten through third grade students painted individual vignettes that depict the practice of each of these ideals, to remind us of our collective promise to behave in a manner that shows that every one of us "C.A.R.E.S". In addition to the original artwork and photographs of the project, there is an 8' x 8' panel created by the student artists.

Fiber Arts Techniques: Celia Buchanan from Jacquard
Using the broad range of Jacquard products available, this lecture-demo on Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 1 to 3 p.m., explores the diverse and fascinating world of surface design and fine art fabric patterning techniques. Expand and diversify your skills through an introduction to these mediums. Using Jacquard dyes, paints, pigments and waxes we will cover techniques such as Silk Painting, Shibori, Indigo Dyeing, Screen and Solar Printing and Encaustic Painting. Celia will concentrate on the fine art applications of these techniques in this introduction to these rich and complex mediums.
